Well after wondering if i wanted to join the blogging world for the past few months I've finally bitten the bullet and am ready to give this a go!
The weather has been cold and damp recently which has caused a buildup of some ice out on the golf course. The good news is that we are quickly approaching March and any damage from the ice will likely be minimal at best.
Winter thus far has been a busy one, 40+ trees have been removed throughout various locations on the golf course and should increase playability and turf quality in several areas. Some of the trees that were removed were safety issues as they were dead or dying, like the tree pictured on the right. Some cleanup is still in the works but we should have everything chipped and stumped before the spring. The greens team is eagerly waiting for some warmer weather so we can get out and start prepping the course for the coming year!

Start cleaning the clubs, Spring is just around the corner....
